This style of painting is out of my comfort
zone but I wanted to try something different, moodier, with a more
adventurous theme and set of techniques. Definitively a place I'd like
to explore more in the future :)

Here is more brainstorming for that personal
project I've been working on (which, once again, I will reveal when the
time is right). Please don't hesitate to let me know what you think :)

Squids & Stuff
Sorry if I haven't posted anything in a while,
but I've been utterly busy preparing for the my expo in October. I've
also produced by own little art book. I got a new printer (which cost me
an arm and a leg) and decided to print the little bugger myself - and
well, I'm quite happy with the result and glad that I stuck with it! As
the title implies, the end result is nearly 40 pages of squids and
stuff!

Tilting at Windmills
Here is a recent pencil drawing I completed. I may give this one some
colors soon. I started by drawing the demon like creature and I had a
flash of inspiration, and though about Don Quixote, a classic novel that
has always had some resonance for me... of course I had to add my own
twist to the story.

By The Sea
This paintings has been on the back burner for a crazy long time. And
when I say a long time, I mean a freaky long time. Two years! It started
as a small pencil sketch and I thought it would deserve to be a
painting. So, after two years, here it is!!
Please, don't hesitate to let me know what you think, comments are most welcome :)

The Teddy Bear
I tried to make time to work on my traditional painting techniques and
experiment with various media. This painting was done in watercolor,
some acrylic and ink. I still have a long way to go, but this was fun.
That is definitively something I'll do more often in the future.

Ta-Daaa!
I
started by drawing the little doggies, and I thought it'd be cool to
have them do a doggie wall. Then I threw a ball in the mix, and added
their cheerful owner. I had to, we all know that a good dog show must
always have someone shouting "Ta-Daaa!" to be considered a success.

The Jaded King
If I were King, I would order pizza from my throne, I would wear
flip-flops, I would make croissants a hard currency, I would legalize
teleportation, I would wear my crown over my eyes to hide my frequent
daytime naps and I would decree a no-light-night so that I could see the
stars once more.
